Travel for Care, Stay for Healing: When Patients Become Guests
Yerevan, Armenia
September 10, 2026
Armenia will host the Global Conference on Medical Tourism, a three-day international gathering under the theme Travel for Care, Stay for Healing: When Patients Become Guests.
In today’s rapidly evolving healthcare and tourism landscape, medical tourism goes beyond access to treatment — it is about trust, quality, patient experience, innovation, and the seamless coordination of care and travel. The Conference will bring together government representatives, healthcare and tourism stakeholders, medical institutions, international organizations, investors, insurers, experts, and industry leaders to explore how destinations can deliver safe, high-quality, and patient-focused medical tourism experiences.
Participants can expect inspiring keynote speeches, high-level panel discussions, expert sessions, and opportunities for professional networking and collaboration. Together, they will address current trends, international best practices, digital innovation, standards, and cross-sector partnerships, while presenting Armenia’s potential as an emerging and attractive destination for medical tourism.
